Re: My pulling the page as a copyvio: No great loss, as the page is just the CCA's own About page. Too much advertising. It could easily be rephrased and NPOVed to be a valid article (although a few claims like "largest" would need some investigation). Alan De Smet 17:18, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Cca logo whitebg.gif
Image:Cca logo whitebg.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:42, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

- The sections describing the academic programs (Undergraduate programs & Graduate programs) both still read as if they were lifted verbatim from the college's catalog. Apart from being plagiarism, this makes for a quite amateurish "encyclopedia" page for the school and should be paraphrased (as well as cut down in size).
- I've tagged these sections with
{{advert{{WikiProject Smithsonian Institution|class=|importance=|listas=|SIART=yes|SIART-importance=}} }}
to expedite changes. +ILike2BeAnonymous (talk) 02:57, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Details
The school is notable, but the details of what the school offers are NOT. please, someone, take time to simply add refs showing its importance, and leave the class details to the schools website. this is overkill, always annoying with academic institutions, whose boosters should know better.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 07:47, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Redlinks
This article had a lot of issues if the alumni and faculty list (and no citations). I worked on cleaning it up today and adding citations and details so it matches the format to other art universities. I will post the faculty redlinks below so that they can be added back once they have articles written. Thanks Jooojay (talk) 00:59, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- Darrell Alvarez,
- [[Barbara Pilakowski Barrett]], I added in the main website for Barbara Pilakowski Barrett AKA Barbara Barrett, current resident of Rancho Mirage, CA and alumni of CCA and still working in the studio producing Art. She recently had and exhibition with her husband at The Barrett Gallery. She is married to Robert Barrett, also a CCA alumni and former Director of the Fresno Art Museum. Both she and Robert have worked closely with CCA in Fresno, Pasadena, more recently in Rancho Mirage serving as guest lectures, hosts for alumni events and student prospect portfolio evaluations as well as admission recruitment events. I have more references and would like to clear up the confusion on Wikipedia between Barbara Barrett, artist and instructor and Barbara Barrett, Diplomat and US Business woman. She is getting some credit that belongs to Barbara Pilakowski Barrett, my mom. Contact me through one of my parents websites.72.132.70.168 (talk) 01:44, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Max Barrett?
