Nelbertina "Nelbert" Murphy Chouinard (February 9, 1879 - 1969) was an American artist and educator, and the founder of the Chouinard School of Art. Chouinard helped launch the "art school that fostered the talents of Robert Irwin, Ed Ruscha, Stephan von Huene and costume designer Edith Head".
